How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP6993956 / WD19X25187 Single Speed Dishwasher Drain Pump Kit

I changed the drain pump and the circulating pump. It took me three hours the first time I put it back together. I didn’t have the clamps on correctly.. after finally sealing the leak I found success And I have a new dishwasher now. Thank you.

After ensuring the drain line was not clogged, the sump was not the issue, and nothing was stuck in the drain pump. I planned on replacing the drain pump itself. The pump was running during the drain cycle, but no water was being moved to the drain. Replacing the drain pump was as simple as the instructional video showed it to be. 

I had previously had a failure with the control board and this issue acted the same way. The dishwasher had a lot of water in it so I removed the water and still it would not start. I ordered a replacement control board. A day later I noticed some water on the floor so I removed the piece on the bottom and looked where the pumps are. The drip pan was full of water so I removed the water and cleaned it out. After that the dishwasher would run but not pump out the water. Our pump was working intermittently so that threw us at first. But then it finally quit so was obviously the problem.
