My Kenmore Elite refrigerator first started making a loud banging noise when an ice tray tilted to dump ice (that loud noise could last up to 20 seconds). Then it eventually stopped making ice. Fast forward: I bought an assembly kit for my ice maker (I was reluctant first as it is advertised as a Genuine "LG" part, and mine is Kenmore - but a quick phone call to APP's customer service clarified everything). It was relatively easy to replace it and mine is working (like new) again! One more thing - the shipping was very quick. I selected a "standard" shipping method, but it was delivered at my front door only 2 days after the day I had placed an order. 

The ice Trey wouldn’t empty completely, so when the new water filled the Trey it was one big sheet of ice that wouldn’t empty at all. I called appliance parts pro’s and they recommended I get a new ice maker assembly kit, which I did. I replaced it and it works 

I ordered an ice maker for a customer, but this particular model had two different ice makers for the same refrigerator. I was able to navigate the website to find the right part, The customer service rep was able to assist me in returning the other part, and it was eceived the next day. Purchased replacement ice maker. Took me all but 15 min to complete repair. Watched online video on YouTube. Super easy to do. Now it's its working like a champ.

I replaced the icemaker. The unit is basically plug and play but the trick is how to access. The online video was very helpful with step-by-step instructions. Website instructions also suggested verifying 6 wire connection or 3 wire connection which was helpful as I would have ordered the wrong part. Overall I am very happy with the process and cost savings. 

After several attempts to repair the existing ice maker. I ordered a replacement from AppliancePartsPros.com. Six days later the replacement arrived. I immediately opened the package to verify the order sent was correct. Now that I had a replacement in hand I removed the existing ice maker and installed the new one. I ordered the ice maker with the correct part number. But before that i removed the ice maker and check for the part number and then I ordered it. It arrived after 3 days. I installed it and before I closed it I tested it first and it's working. Then I closed it up and turned it on and waited for a few hours. I got ice and I'm satisfied with my repair.
