How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4579073 / DC66-00531B Washer Damper Shock

Replaced all 4 shocks absorbers 

I ordered 2 damper shock from your store with the help of Beverly, who is really helpful in placing my order because I am from Canada. She even suggested to buy a washing machine cleaner. 

I had to review several times about the compatibility and proper replacement parts. Certainly your videos helped a lot, not to mention your prices are cheaper than any other available place for regular customers. I had to disassemble my washer to confirm what was wrong with it. I also realized that there were 2 types of shock absorbers for mine. I understand now why people buy new ones instead of fixing it. To have sombody to do it it's crazy expensive, besides the parts can be pricey. Si, I didn't have the money to buy a new one, so I took the risk and fixed it myself. For what I researched Samsung parts are cheap. It took longer than expected from Fedex and I had limited time, but I took my chances. It's a very detailed and time consuming task to do. I have the patience to do it. I already serviced my dryer already. For a first timer, it took 4 hours to disassemble and 4 hours to assemble back together. It worked. I used WD40 to remove some screws and none broke. 

The arm that bolts the drum to the bearing was eroded away. Purchased new arm from appliancepartspros.com. It was delivered promptly and I replaced the arm. This appears to be a problem or more likely a manufacturer defect. After receiving my part I had it powder coated to increase the life. Also purchased new dampers and bolts. All parts were in stock at the lowest price. Items arrived at my door in 2 days. Outstanding service. Will be back when I need more parts. Thanks Again J Maier

Called Appliance pros and spoke to Paul ((very helpful), ordered parts, parts delivered on day promised, re-assembled washer and was back to washing clothes. If appliance parts are what you need these are the guys to get them from.

Thanks to Appliance Parts Pro and my wonderful husband I didn't have to lug all of our clothes somewhere this weekend to do our washing! Our Samsung washer started throwing up an error code last Wednesday night and wouldn't do anything so I did a little internet reseach and discovered that it was probably the drain pump. While we were disassembling the washer we found that we also had a broken shock. The parts drawings on your website were excellent and easy to follow and order. And thank goodness the parts were in stock. I asked for overnight delivery and received the parts on Friday, as scheduled, and my husband put the washer back together. Yea! Thanks for your prompt service and great website. The pictures helped a lot to be confident I was ordering the proper part - a lot of parts websites don't offer photos of the parts.
