Dryer wasn’t drying

The dryer high limit switch/thermostat wasn’t working. Tested with ohmmeter. It should beep with nc connection and it wasn’t and replace the heating element. It was still good but had crack in metal so I replaced it also and now everything works just as it should.

No heat everything else works

Bought a new heat element, thermostat, and thermister. Watched a YouTube video on how to get to it. Not really hard to do except when installing the new heat element it's a little tricky to get all the screw holes lined up.

Had no heat,

Resistance check showed the thermal fuse was blown, a lot of people stop here. The thermostat needs checking as well. Often times the thermostat goes bad allows the element to overheat and blow the fuse. Replacing the thermal fuse only will last just a few months.

Ran normally but generated no heat

Knew it was likely the heater element but ordered the thermostat and thermal fuse at same time just in case and why not since you can return unopened/uninstalled parts. Tested element when I got the dryer disassembled and that was issue. New part was perfect fit and no hassle. Returned unused parts using the website returns section, very easy and should have my refund in a few days.

Dryer ran but would not heat

We went online for a video on how to take the dryer apart, found that the heating coil was broken. We ordered one, and the two related sensors on Wednesday afternoon. The following day, Thursday, one sensor arrived. On Saturday, the heating coil arrived, and we put the dryer back together. We are still waiting for the second sensor, but that did not seem to be related to the problem, as the dryer works perfectly.
