How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6010191 / WP660579 Oven Broil Element

I have an older oven so many parts are hard to find. AppliancePartsPros, seems to have a great supply stock and their advisor are so helpful. Put in, my model number and scrolled thru until I found the part needed. A broiler element, for melting cheese on our homemade pizzas and to heat the topping. Had to cook them on my grill without it. Parts fit perfectly and shipping was much shorter than I thought. 

Ordered replacement part from whirlpool and recieved very quickly. Watched how to video on their website and installed. 

Online help directed me to correct part. I ordered late in the day and it was shipped the same day as promised. In Florida, I received my part from Louisville, Ky the NEXT DAY by 2pm. Unbelievable! I have used this company many times with great results. I diagnose the problem, get the part, and THEN call the repairman to install the part. That saves an extra charge by repairman. 

Found the right part and was an easy fix. The video tip on securing the lead wires made it a snap. I will use this company again. Taking off oven door made it a lot easier. 

Took door off by sliding up off hinges then removing 2 screws and the 2 wire terminals. Repeating order above. 

Replaced the electric broiler element in my Whirlpool wall oven. 

The upper element had broken and when it was turned on it curved up and contacted the inside of the oven. Since manufacturers only switch one leg of the 220v, the element shorted out on the metal top of the oven. I turned off the power and ordered a new part from Appliance Parts Pros. They always have the parts that I have looked for. Great prices too. The part arrived a couple of days later and the rest was easy. 

Ordered a new burner from AppliancePartsPros and it was there within a few days. Perfect fit, easily replaced, and now I have a functional oven! So exciting! 

Ordered all three from Appliance Parts Pros for a good bit cheaper than I could in town. They arrived the next day. All the parts were correct and an easy fix.
