How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4011179 / 12112425 Washer Pump And Drive Belt Kit

Went to your site and research it, watched your video, very easy repair, just needed to replace belts, I paid a little extra for the shipping and got the part the next day and had the job done in a couple minutes. I have used your site before with excellent results, you have saved me more than the cost of a new washer and dryer. 

Replace belts and adjust pump for new belts. 

Replaced washer belts. 

No problem. Belts work fine. 

Turned washer over, pulled off belts and replaced. Followed instructions provided by APP, easy! 

Disengaged drain hose to pump and removed sock with needle nose pliers. Replaced both pump belt and spin basket belt. 

We took the water pump hose off & removed the sock. I ordered a belt kit, it took us a bit of work adjusting things... but finally got it! The lady I talked to order my belts assured me this kit was the correct one & was in stock. She seemed very knowledgeable & very helpful 

Replaced belts. 

Replaced stretched belts. 

Looked at diagrams and physical system, read your percentage of usual fixes for this condition, ordered new OEM belt kit and drain pump. Old belts were fine. Old pump showed impeller slipping badly on shaft. Replacement pump effected perfect repair, rig is now ready for another 40 yrs service.
