Robert G Yorkville , IL October 11, 2016 Pump motor very noisy I called multiple times because the first person said that the part wasn't available, which didn't seem right to me. The 2nd person realized that in the model number I gave the O (letter) was a 0 (number). Once that was figured out it was determined that you have the part. Reasonable price, extremely quick delivery & helpful video. Replacement was very easy, but took me longer because I cleaned the inside of dishwasher while it was apart & the floor under the dishwasher while it was out. John M Berlin , MA October 04, 2016 Appliance: KitchenAid Undercounter Dishwasher KUDS01DJBL1 14 yr old dishwasher started making loud noise during cycles I confirmed that the noise was not the drain pump (noise stopped when motor cycle stopped but dishwasher drain pump was still on). I replaced the entire pump and motor unit. It was cheaper than just replacing the motor! I followed the AppliancePartsPros video. It was extremely helpful! My model was not identical to the video but very similar. The step-by-step video made the whole repair a breeze. I've been using AppliancePartsPros since 2002. Because of their great parts lists, I've never bought the wrong part, have saved $100s in service calls and have avoided taking time off from work to be home. The how-to videos are icing on the cake. Great customer experience! Read More... 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 2+ hours Tools: Adjustable Wrench, Pliers, Screwdrivers, Wrench Set
Michael H Dayton , OH July 25, 2025 Appliance: Model 665.15953000 Dishwasher noise noise noise The dishwasher is 20 years old and I was just going to let it fail and get a new one. Well it would not die but was getting noisier. After reading about dishwasher noises and watching the video instructions provided by Appliance Parts Pros I concluded that the problem was the pump motor assembly and ordered it. I then decided a new part was much cheaper than a new dishwasher and I am handy with repairs. The assembly arrived within a couple of days and was a perfect match and fit. The most challenging part of the repair was getting the new assembly to sit evenly in the dishwasher tub so the 3 insert tabs could all be installed evenly from the underside of the tub. Patience and perseverance is not my strong suit but I did achieve a successful install. I attribute my success to the video installation instructions which were extremely detailed prompted the installer to take note of wire colors (I used camera phone photos) for accurate reassembly. Alan A Raymond , MN April 13, 2025 My top rack was not cleaning I followed the instructions from the video on appliance parts pros. My water supply connection was different from the video, and my water shut off valve was seized. I had to shut the water off to the whole house. Other than that the repair went just like the video. My top rack is cleaning like new again. My family is very happy. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Adjustable Wrench, Pliers, Screwdrivers

Thomas C Farmington , MI August 04, 2023 Loud noises while running. Bought the whole pump and motor which eliminated the old "chopper" assembly which was causing so many problems. They do not make or offer the chopper assembly anymore. Significant noise coming from the old unit which was so loud you almost had to yell to be heard in the kitchen. Replaced old unit with pump and motor assembly using the video to install and it was a breeze. Now the unit is quiet as a mouse just like when we installed the unit in 2005. Had a couple of extra parts I thought I needed but AppliancePartsPros.com had no problem providing a return for these part. I really like Appliance PartsPros.com as I have fixed and repaired my microwave, stove, fridge and now dishwasher for far less than new would have costs and the videos are a special treat showing exactly how it is done. Cheryl S Coral Springs , FL November 26, 2021 Appliance: Whirlpool Undercounter Dishwasher GU1500XTLQ0 Whirlpool gold dishwasher pump was whining and making a really loud noise My Whirlpool dishwasher was leaking underneath and whining. I called an Appliance professional and he came over and I told him I believed it was the motor. He unscrewed the kick plate, looked with the flashlight and basically said it would cost $425.00 to fix the dishwasher, but told me I should just buy another one. I decided not to listen to him. I ordered the part from Appliance Parts Pros and it got here two days later! Fast service. The video was great. It took me 20 minutes to remove the old and install the new one. Easy peasy. The one note I would make is that the video said to wipe water around the seal before putting it in. Well that didn't work and it was very difficult to get it laid down. I put dawn dish liquid around the seal, put the motor in and viola....it was perfect. Had I done that first, it wouldn't have taken the extra time. Motor/Dishwasher is running GREAT! Thanks so much AllAppliancePartsPro! You guys are great and installing it myself was easy. I am 59 years old and it was easy for me. Read More...
