This problem only occurred after installing a new filter, it worked fine with the old filter. Read similar stories on line, checked that the solenoid valves were getting power and decided it was the filter head. Filter head and tank all come together. Replacement took about 1 hour. Remove the shelves on the right, pop off the covers on the back with a screw driver in the latch slots. Disconnect water line to valves, disconnect supply line in back. Tank, line and head are easily removed. I was worried that snaking the supply line back into the rear would be an issue but Maytag did a good job of providing a nice channel for this to be pushed through.
