The noise turned out to be the bottom bearing between the belt pulley and the transmission. Once apart an easy replacement. But you did need some tools to replace the bearing as in snap ring pliers and bearing puller. The water leak was the top rubber seal which is part of the seal kit. I had to make a puller out of some chain and a 2 jaw-bearing puller to the top of the transmission shaft to get the trunnion off but once it was off the rest was a snap. The video was a big help. Followed youtube instruction video found independently with searching how to fix the problem. Took the top off of the washer. Took off the face of the washer, removed top and bottom exposed balancing weights. Removed old bellow door boot. Did all steps back in reverse. Had a very hard time getting the bellow reattached to the washer as the video was very non-specific of which grove actually attached back onto the water. Read more
