I ordered both hinges (if the nylon roller was bad on the left, it was probably going to go bad on the right side as well). The web site was easy to navigate, order process simple. Hinges arrived quickly. Slide the oven door up and off. unscrew the three screws for the hinge. You need to then pull up with some force (there is a big spring in there), and twist the hinge to get the last bit out. Replaced with a new Inlet Sump [WD18X213]. It was a little tedious, attaching the Inlet Sump, back to the pump, because I did the job with the dishwasher in place (not pulled out). My dishwasher was plumbed with copper pipe, so I really didn't want to upset that. Also, I had previously replaced the motor and the pump in this dishwasher, so I was familiar with how the Inlet Sump attached to the pump. I stood by the dishwasher as it went through the cycles and noted the noise only happened during the drain processes. To make this repair you have to take the dishwasher completely out from under the counter. (NOTE: print the schematic to help guide you to the location of the part and connections.) The Dryer is 10 years old GE Front Load DPVH890JEMG. The drum would intermittently not rotate at the beginning of a cycle and occasionally would rotate but then start and stop throughout the cycle. The repair was relatively simple and straight forward. By doing the work myself I saved over $250. Originally a GE technician quoted a price of $489 to replace the motor to repair the dishwasher. Replaced solenoid valve. Repair summary: Turn off H/C water supply, disconnect hoses. Unscrew 3 screws rear of main panel. Slide front panel laterally then pull up to remove. Unscrew 2 screws on solenoid valve part. Disconnect spade electrical connectors and remove defective part. Insert new part and do everything I just said in reverse. Suspected a clogged condensation drain line. Took out all the shelves and drawers, condensation unit is toward the bottom of the frdige on inside, I could see that there was ice build up. I unplugged fridge, placed fan in firdge to speed up the thawing of the built up ice. After ice melted enough, I could get face panels and foam off to see that icing caused a backup in drain line, which led to water sitting in trough pan, rusting the trough pan. Ordering the right part is the key. This is the element with 3 wire connectors NOT the usual kind with 2 prongs that slide in. Thank goodness this company carries these elements for old GE built-in stoves. I'm not super handy but replaced two in about 40 min. Make sure you save the old ceramic clamps. The three prongs of the element with connected wires need to fit completely in the ceramic grooves so the two sides can be clamped together. The new element comes with everything you need but...
