If the range is no longer turning on, this could mean that the control board needs to be replaced. Luckily this is a relatively simple repair. To replace the range hood control board, start by shutting off all power to the range hood. Remove the upper metal panel above the range hood opening and locate the old control board. Take note of the orientation of the wires by taking a photo with a phone camera. Remove the wire harness and any individual wires attached to the old control board. Place the wires into their correct terminals on the new board and snap it back into its place.
