I have a Jennair jjw9630cas double wall oven, and after a few years I noticed that the light would not go out, first in the bottom oven, and then in the top oven. • Not dispensing water

I watched the Appliance Parts Pros repair video and decided to remove the front panel to diagnose the problem. While the repair video is excellent, I could not remove the ice/water dispenser front panel with a putty knife. On my model, 106.56234400, there is no clip that can be released by sliding a putty knife up under the front panel. It took a little effort but I was able to pop the left lower corner clip just by pulling it out with my fingers. Once the cover was off I could see that the... Read more

Condenser was encased in solid block of ice due to automatic defrost not working. Replaced thermostat and ADC control board. Working fine now. Most tedious part was using a heat gun to melt all the ice off the condenser coils. You will need a couple small wire nuts to splice the new thermostat into the existing harness (they are not included). Service tech wanted over $400 to repair, fixed it myself for half that. Thanks ! My refrigerator was not dispensing ice. I could hear the motor activating but noticed the ice auger was not turning. My old drive shaft was stripped on both ends. Video was very helpful and it was an easy fix for someone with little handyman experience. Received my order much faster than expected! Ice Door Kit, Control Bracket, and Ice Dispenser Guide were purchased. I followed two videos on replacing the parts. The Control Bracket WP2180226 / AP6005965, was straight forward and I discovered a snapped pin on the old bracket causing an electric switch to be out of place... that repair was easy. Our Kenmore (Whirlpool) refrigerator's ice maker had stopped making ice. I searched YouTube and found a repair videos for this exact problem, finding one with a similar refrigerator and the identical ice maker. I learned that the Water Inlet Valve had likely gone bad and would need to be replaced. The ice dispenser chute door had not been sealing for years. The ice cubes on the lower portion of the ice bin would melt enough eventually to then freeze up into a big, amalgamated blob of ice due to ambient air coming up the chute. While this should have been a relatively simple replacement of the ice bucket coupling and auger motor drive shaft, there were a couple of unexpected complications. First, the screw holding the coupling was absolutely fused into the auger. The screw head was easily stripped while trying to remove the coupling.
