This lid assembly replaces a damaged or discolored top lid so your washer closes properly and looks like new. It restores the washer's top cover, improving cosmetic appearance and allowing the lid switch and hinge to function correctly. What it does:
- Replaces a cracked, warped or broken top lid that won't close or latch securely
- Restores the mounting surface for the lid switch and hinge so the washer can operate safely
- Improves the washer's appearance when the original lid is chipped, scratched, or yellowed
- Helps prevent dirt and debris from entering the tub area
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the washer before starting any repair to avoid shock or injury
- Remove any screws or hinge pins securing the old lid; keep track of fasteners and springs
- Lift the old lid off the hinges and set the new lid into place, reinstalling hardware securely
- If the lid switch or hinge hardware is damaged, replace those parts separately.

What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing to avoid shock or injury

The tub in my washer was unbalanced all of the time Linda J. • Beaverton , MI • October 26, 2014
Replaced 4 of the suspension springs with new brackets. I looked up my washer, looked at the diagrams, watched your video which made things a lot easier! Took the washer apart, found the problem, ordered the parts from you and the washer was put back together and working within 3 days! Love your website! This is also the second time we have used your website and were extremely happy both times! Saved us a lot of money!

A bunch of things. Leaking, clutch was slipping and not spinning very well, and the brake was not engaging.. Alan V. • Melrose Park , IL • November 11, 2022
I installed all the necessary parts that I received from you and it works great, now. I received the parts in good time without overnighting them. I had the whole washing machine apart and went through it all before ordering parts. Tear down and assembly was easy. I just took my time. The washer is 17 years old and was well built. It was worth it compared to what is on the market today, and cheaper.
