I was just going to order the dryer belt, but decided that changing all the movable parts at the same time would be best - I definitely recommend doing this, since it was the tensioner pulley and not the belt. Door latch was a snap (literally). Package included Instructions and parts for 3 different latch types and an easy identification method for each type. Just identify the correct latch type for your dryer and "Snap" it in to the cutout on the inside of the dryer door . The Door handle requires you unscrew the small sheet metal screws (three on my dryer) on the top edge of the dryer door. My son and I took the back panel off the dryer and found that the dryer was full of lint. It was very dirty and probably explains why the dryer had no been working as well. We cleaned the dryer out, took off the old air duct assembly and replaced it with the new one. We also replaced the old dryer hose while we had it pulled out. I saw videos on it possibly being the lid switch. I used 2 lead wires to bypass the lid switch, which indicated it was indeed the lid switch that was faulty. I ordered the lid switch, which came in 2 days. I installed it in less than 7 minutes. Read more

Removed and replaced start switch then motor, no joy. removed the timer for disassembly, found bad contact. soldered contact to the spring tab and assembled and installed the timer. All good now. Read more

Did some research via the internet and figured the problem was likely the moisture control board. Watched a video of the repair of a similar unit in order to locate the moisture control board. Used the chat feature with one of the Appliance Parts Pros to get a schematic of the dryer and advice about where to use the putty knife to release the springs for access to the board.
