Bake element broken on jenn air model s125 downdraft slide in range Patricia D. • Raleigh , NC • May 02, 2015
Ordered Bake Element, Y04100019 (Whirlpool AP4283614) to replace a broken bake element on my 30-year old Jenn-Air Model S125 Downdraft Slide-in electric range. Received the element very quickly but it had been damaged in shipping. Called AppliancePartsPros to report this and they quickly shipped another element - very easy process.
To install the element, I turned off the power to the range, put on rubber gloves (just in case) and removed the two sheet metal crews at the rear of the oven -...

Hinges were weak Don M. • Colchester , VT • December 31, 2016
Bought and installed new hinges. Repair took about an hour but I also cleaned all the glass inside and out on both oven doors. I had ordered extra screws as I read the old ones that hold the hinges were hard to get in as they were self taping but the screw labeled 5 next to the hinge were not the right ones. All old screws worked fine. You just need to put a little power to them to get them started. Easy repair.

No spark in front two burners Bob F. • Matamoras , PA • October 12, 2020
The top had to be removed but with the unit being 14 years old, galvanic corrosion had seized the screws holding the Burner Heads to the Orifices. I carefully drilled out the heads of the screws until the Burner heads could be pulled free. I removed the two screws that held the Burner control assembly with all the gas valves in place. If you open the top oven, there are two last screws that thread straight up into the top. So 14 screws in all.
I ordered 10 new screws along with the Orifices...

Long time to heat up. Guy D. • Baltimore , MD • August 08, 2020
This range is 12 years old. We noticed it would take 10 minutes to start heating up. A YouTube search revealed this a common problem with this Maytag range. I decided to replace all three ignitors as all behaved similarly. Took about an hour and a half- only because my hands do not work as well as they used to. I pulled the range, disconnected the gas and electric and swapped out the parts. Everything working like new. I went with OEM- I did not want to mess with connections

Oven would not light. Robert P. • Deer Park , NY • March 10, 2023
Replaced igniter with new one from AppliancePartsPros.com. The repair was easy following the video from their website. A few things were a little different but was able to figure it out. Also was warned that there might be wire nuts instead of a connector. Which there was but just cut and stripped the wire. Oven is like new again.

Small fire due to spill. Laura C. • Beaver Falls , PA • May 09, 2017
I replaced the Igniter switch, two control valves and one holder/orifice (because I couldn't get the screws out and decided to just replace it rather than re-tape it and get new screws). The one thing I forgot was I have propane and the orifice was for natural gas. Fortunately, I was able to swap out the orifice from the old holder.

I needed to convert my jenn air stove top range back to natural gas from lp and the orifices were not available by themselves so i needed to order new orifice holders that included the ng orifices James M. • Brooklyn , WI • November 23, 2015
I had to drill out the screws that hold down the burner plates which also mount to the orifice holders because all of the screws had rusted tight and could not be loosened. The drilling out part was fairly easy and once I had removed the burner plates, I could easily lift the stove top off and get access to the orifice holders to replace all of them. I purchased new stainless steel self-threading screws from our local hardware store and re-assembled the new orifice holders and existing burner...
