Whew... This was an adventure... Let me preface by saying that, for anyone considering simply replacing the circulation motor (AP5325099), save yourself alot of trouble and just replace the whole sump assembly (this part, AP5676704). Upon opening the front cover of my GE washing machine, I found the water pump/brake was not spinning as it should when the drain/spin cycle was starting.
