In the How to fix it your self section of Questions and Answers, your answers for removing the Base Spray Arm is incorrect. It states "just stick a screw driver into the base spray arm from inside the tub and turn", that does not work. Their are 2 tabs that in gauge the base spray arm with the tub. A 4 prong round wrench is required to insert from the bottom into the pump connector and turn the nut that sits inside. Read more

I had a repairman in to check why machine had no power. I watched as he opened the door up and secured the electrical ribbon in place and lights on control panel came on. The PC board was bigger than the original so had to modify the mounts, the pump and rotor are pretty straight forward but would have much easier with another pair of hands. Replaced the pump and drain hose. The pump was easy. The replacement parts were identical to the bad parts. The drain hose was full of gook and smelled awful so I decided to replace that as well. The tag on the new hose alerted me to the procedure for installing a drain hose. If your dishwasher is not vented you need to create a high hose loop so that excess particles from the garbage disposal or dishwasher don't stay in the hose. Replaced the drain pump assembly. Took about 90 minutes. Most difficult part was getting to the hoses and clamps in inside the machine at the bottom front. Just had to open the back panel and work inside. About the same difficulty as changing the radiator hoses on an automobile engine. Read more
