Hugh January 04, 2021 for Model Number SHX68T55UC Bosch dishwasher SHX68T55UC, 4 years old. Getting E15 from time to time and sure enough there's water collecting in the base. I ran a rinse cycle and observed dripping from the diverter assembly. My question is: how can I tell if the problem is the diverter itself or if it's really another part and the drips just flow past the diverter? I figure I'm going to be disassembling the whole base section anyway, I might as well know what I should check beside the one thing I saw dripping.
1 Answer Hugh, It will be hard to tell but another option is to order the sump that comes with a diverter already installed 00668102. Just another option for you. I would uninstall the unit and clear any insulation away from both sides so you can see from both sides. Keep the water and power hooked up and run a quick cycle to make sure like you said its not leaking from the wash pump or other area. Read More...
Kevin November 18, 2020 for Model Number SHE863WF6N/01 An E15 error code suddenly happened after an uneventful several years of ownership. Water tripped the float switch. Hoping it was a fluke, after removing the water, I reassembled the washer, but left the cover plates off so I could observe the area near the float switch. I had seen drops of water on fin-like protrusions on the part immediately above it ( Altern.water Distributor Part Number: AP5691407 https://www.appliancepartspros.com/bosch-altern-water-distributor-751950-ap5691407.html ). As soon as I turned the washer on, and got down to look, water was gushing out from above these fins. The water came so fast that E15 popped up within seconds. I have since dismantled the washer, and to my amazement and chagrin, the Altern.water Distributor is LOOSE and moves easily to the touch. Mind you, this washer has never been moved since it was new, and has never been dismantled before. The Altern.water Distributor was detached from the Sump Assembly as if someone had rotated it out of its locked position! I rotated the Altern.water Distributor to the right and it CLICKED into a LOCKED POSITION! Apparently this dishwasher was never properly assembled when it was manufactured!
1 Answer Kevin, based on this, it would be recommended that the unit is ran through a couple of test runs to ensure that no water continues to leak. If there are no leaks, things should be good. If there is still a leak, the seal 00628306 may have failed in the water distributor 00751950. Read More...
Tim June 08, 2020 for Model Number SHE863WF5N/01 Hello, I am trying to self repair my Bosch Dish Washer. I ordered a new inlet water housing on Saturday as the top part that had a black looking device in it look very dirty maybe even clogged...I changed it out...but the same issue. The washer is filling with hot water (it is steaming hot in the washer in just a few mins), and when I open the door when running I can see water trickling through the jets...but they are not turning or spraying...just a trickle. The jets are not clogged...I check that. The water drains fine...and I hear the pumps operating...just no pressure to clean the dishes. I have removed the intake valve...but before I order, I want to ensure I don't waste more money. Is the inlet valve gone bad a likely issue that would all of a sudden create this issue of the jets not having enough water pressure to turn and wash the dishes?? I have seen a few videos on something called the chopper being an issue...is there chopper in this washer causing the issue? Help! Please and thank you.
1 Answer Tim, the sump assembly would need to be inspected for any debris that may be preventing the diverter from moving properly. If the diverter ports are clear, the failure would be the motor 12008381. Read More...
Harwell April 18, 2020 for Model Number SHP65T56UC/07 Bosch dishwasher gets error code E20 within seconds after starting. Turning off power for 15 minutes and retrying gives the same result. No debris in sump area around filter. Bosch web site says "fault with circulation pump" and advises that I contact a service person, so that's no help. Does the E20 code always require replacing the circulation pump? And if so, what part number should I get? Your diagrams for this dishwasher show a heat pump and a motor but nothing specifically identified as a "circulation pump." Thanks.
1 Answer Harwell, first check the water level at the bottom of the tub, start the dishwasher let it fill and run a minute or so. unlatch the door, remove the lower rack and measure the water depth. It should be at least 3/4" deep at the center of the tub, or "water level upper edge of mesh filter". If the water level is OK, then check or replace the 12008381 / 12008381 Heat Pump. "E:20 Faulty heat pump motor winding. Check wire continuity between the heat pump and the power module. Measure heat pump resistance between any 2 terminals. If ˜ 15.2 O @ room temp, replace the power module. If not, replace the heat pump." The heat pump and circulation motor are a single, combined assembly and replaced as a unit. Read More...
Martin April 16, 2020 for Model Number SHE68T55UC/01 I bought this dishwasher as a clearance item. Water is not getting into the chamber. It worked once then a mouse ate some of the wiring and hoses, then it gave me a filling error (can't remember the error). Insulated the wiring, replaced hoses, in a suggestion by a repairman, I replaced the inlet pump, then replaced the motor turning the alternating distributer water thing part 406. I had the motor and pump in my hand and they were functioning as the dishwasher was running. Still, no water getting into the chamber. Took the motor and drain pump out, did not disassemble and ran water through it, it ran out. Still, no water getting into the chamber. There seems to be no water getting into part 406. I poured water into the inlet and it did not go anywhere. My thought was that maybe a piece of the pipe went into the part. Any suggestions? Today it ran for 15 minutes, inlet pump turned on and off, control board seemed to go through cycles but still, no water in the chamber but no error code showed up.
1 Answer Hello Martin, You need to check in the base for any water accumulation. You see, this unit has a "flood switch" that is activated by a float. If there is water in the base, all that will operate on the unit is the drain pump. If there is no water in the base, you should check the flood float to make sure it is not stuck in the "up" position. as a note, water is normally caught in the base from a failing water inlet valve. There is a small hole manufactured into the fill device on the side of the dishwasher. When the water valve does not open fully and the water enters the unit with less than full pressure, the water dribbles from the hole and is accumulated in the base, floating the flood switch. To correct this issue, remove the water from the base and replace the water inlet valve 10023852. Read More...
Israel January 27, 2020 for Model Number Shx8pt55uc/05 I have a Bosch model shx8pt55uc/05.The bottom spray arm doesn’t get any water the upper ones spray really good. At the end of the cycle, I can remove the lower spray arm and see the water diverter open, when the unit starts back up is closed. This is a totally clean unit that doesn’t wash the bottom rack.
1 Answer Israel, the distributor will need to be inspected to ensure that the motor is not skipping from a bad gear. If it is not skipping, then the most likely issue would be the power module 00752744 is not properly cycling the diverter motor. Read More...
James January 09, 2019 for Model Number SHX65T55UC/01 I've got something hitting against the impellers inside the alternate water distributor part 0075190. I have removed the water switch motor (00615820) but can't figure out how to separate the rest of the distributor from the sump (00752078) so I can determine if there's any damage to the impellers inside the unit.
1 Answer James, to access the entirety of the distributor section, you would have to completely remove the entire component from the sump assembly with this is a rotating lock component. From there you will be able to access the diverter blade. You may also want to check the impeller of your wash motor by accessing it through the top of the sump assembly. If you pull the filter and filter plate off of the sump, you will be able to gain enough access to the motor by removing the torx screws from the motor lid and this will allow you to see if there are larger debri getting into the motor assembly. M April 22, 2018 for Model Number SHPM65W55N/01 Water is not spraying in the dishwasher to clean the dishes. Which part would I need to purchase in order to fix this? The repairman was going to charge 700 dollars for parts and labor.
1 Answer Hello M. Test and see if there is power going to the circulation pump on the unit. If so, and the pump does not run, you will need to order and replace the pump 12008381 on the unit. Thank you. Read More...

Ray December 06, 2017 for Model Number SHP65T55UC/02 I have a Bosch dishwasher model # SHP65T55UC/02 that is not dissolving the Finish dishwashing tablet. The dishwashing tablet remains in tact in the handle of the middle rack after the cycle is complete. I've replaced the water inlet solenoid valve and the condition is still the same. I hear the water going into the machine and see it being pumped out (hot water leaving). I checked the spray arms and they are not clogged. I cleaned the strainer as well. What do you think is wrong and what part do I need to replace the restore the operation of my dishwasher?
1 Answer Ray, For this issue you will want to make sure that the incoming water temp is at least 125 degrees as the detergent will not dissolve if the temp is not correct. Also check to make sure that there is nothing blocking the detergent dispenser and that the microfilter is not clogged. Read More...
