Charles, This would be a normal type of issue in which there will be some water left in the spray arm that will allow water to drip down.

Hello! I just talked to a very helpful customer service rep, and ordered the (AP2802458) Center spray arm and tube assembly (I have symptoms of low pressure). She said a tech told her about a gasket or seal between this part and the back tube. Does this part come with the gasket, or is it part of the tube assembly? Can you describe the gasket? Also, in the catch basin (sump?), in a hole on the right side, I can feel a loose, rubbery thing. I looked at it with a flashlight and exam mirror, and it's black. I don't think it's supposed to be there. Perhaps it's a seal out of place? Thank you for giving customers a place to ask these questions!!

Hello GreggF. There is a rubber seal in the tube assembly and you must order the feed tube to replace it.

The center wash arm assembly fell off. Not sure how to reattach. Everything I've read so far says it just snaps on, but I can't seem to get it to stay in place. I see 2 metal clips attached to the back of the dishwasher where it looks like it might snap in, but the arm won't stay. Also, not sure where to line it up. There are 2 holes in the center arm. However the back of the dishwasher from top to bottom thee is a protruding plastic piece, a hole, and then another protruding plastic piece, so not sure whether to line up with the upper piece & hole or lower piece & hole. Please advise.

Hello Darin, If the upper rack is in the upper position, align it with the upper hole. If it is in the lowered position, align it with the lower hole. Since the rack is adjustable and the center spray arm mounts to the bottom of it, its' position will determine which hole it will line up with. The center spray arm attaches with plastic clips made on the spray arm assembly. If it doesn't stay on, the spray arm assembly (AP2802458) may require replacement.

I took the upper spray arm off to clean it and put it back on easily as everything seemed to snap right into place. Since then, the upper spray arm seems to be off balance. Dishes on the upper rack do not come clean and every time I open the door after a cycle, the upper arm is in the same position while the lower arm is in a random position. The upper arm seems to catch on the upper rack. Did I forget something when I put it back together?

Hello Margaret, You will want to make sure that the tube that the spray arm is connected to is not loose from wall. Also check to make sure that you pushed spray arm up all the way. If these things check ok then the spray arm 00359976 may be damaged and needing to be replaced.

Hello Kirk, This is normally caused by minerals or other contaminants in the water supply. There is nothing in the dishwasher that can cause this. With well water, the well walls can collapse periodically, causing muddy water and with city water, every time the city breaks into the water system to do repairs, add a line, or other maintenance type work, they can introduce contaminates into the water supply. This can also be caused by food containing tomato sauce such as chili or spaghetti sauce. You can use a cleaner WX10X10022, W10549845, W10549845 to flush the unit and sanitize it.
