Ar November 10, 2012 for Model Number SC301T When we called in regards to the fan, the light staying on and the beep sounding continously and having the oven turn itstelf off. It was suggested that a new board and panel should be replaced. After installing the new board and panel for a Thermadore single oven we continue to have the fan, the lights and the beep to stay on and now an F-7 code appears on the display front board. Also, the front panel that controls the oven does not work at all. At one point the clock went on but then the F-7 code appeared again. What are we doing wrong?
1 Answer Hi. F7 Function key part # 00368771 or 368772, stuck Check all keys on key pad. Replace electronic oven control (also called EOC or clock) if other components check normal. Thank You. Read More...

Mk October 23, 2012 for Model Number Thermador Double oven SC302 ZP(electric) Top oven Convection, bake&broil work fine. Botom broil fine but bake element warms slow only to 220. Have replaced element 367648 and temp sensor 414152 with no success. No fault codes or display problems.Dont want to replace the oven control board if i missed something else. Is there a way to bring up a fault code or any other procedure I havent taken. Suggestions?
1 Answer MK, Have you partially removed the lower bake element 00367648 and checked for 220/240 VAC across the two element terminals, with the lower oven in a bake cycle ? It could be as simple as a broken or damaged wire to the element. You could be right, and the issue could be in the control, but you should check for voltage to the bake element, and the wiring, before repalcing the control. Thanks Read More...
Juan August 03, 2012 for Model Number SC302T I have replaced the ERC (AP 4929089) on a Thermador Dual Oven model SC302T because the display had gone totally dimmed. Everything seemed to be going fine but now the oven shuts down before it reached the preheat temperature. If I restart it, it does reach the preheat temperature. However, after 20-25 minutes the heat shuts down again. I am not getting any error codes so not sure what this could be. Is it possible that it is the temperature sensor (the oven is 12 years old)
1 Answer Hello Juan, I doubt the sensor is the issue as you would have gotten a fault code for it. It sounds like you need to double check the connections. If you got an instruction sheet with it, you should double check the wiring to be sure there were no deviations. If you find nothing, I recommend you return the board and re-order. Read More...
Juan F. July 12, 2012 for Model Number AP4929089 I am re-posting a question as the advice given is 100% wrong and would like to avoid the same problem for other people. Here is my original question: "I replaced part # AP4929089 (actually two parts display and Board) and everything seems to be working for a little while. For example, I set the oven to pre-heat at 300 and when it gets to 290 it turns off and get error code F7. Obviously no one was leaning on the control panel for 32 seconds as the error code on the owner manual suggests. Not sure what is going on. I took pictures of every cable before disconnecting and re-connected the same way all of the many cables. Could it be a defective part or is it something else? This was the response: Juan, Before you replace the keypad / touchpanel AP2827877, check and clean the touchpad ribbon end, and the control connection with some electrical contact cleaner, and make sure the connection is tight, when the ribbon is plugged into the connector. It the F7 code persists after that you'll need to replace the keypad control panel. Thanks. The correct advice which I found in another on-line forum where many people seemed to be having the same F7 error was due to one of the two cables that connect from the board to the display unit was being crushed between the panel and the metal plate that is behind the key pad. It turns out that I had put both cables through the large opening and the smaller 4 square jumper connector should have been put through the smaller opening. This avoided the jumper cable to be jammed in between the key pad and the plate and now everything is working as expected. You should update your answer database as the advice given would have caused me to buy a new keypad.
1 Answer Hi Juan. We apologize @ any inconvenience you had. In the installation instructions, does it state where the cables are routed correctly? We continually strive on a daily basis to update pertinent information such as this. The Square 4-pin connector needs to be routed correctly so it does not electrically interfere with the ribbon cables as in magnetic interference as well. We are glad the Oven display part # 00702451 is working well now and solved your overall issues as well. Thank You. Read More...

Chris April 04, 2012 for Model Number scd272tp I have a Thermador SCD272TP double wall oven. When I put my upper oven on bake and set to 350 the broil element is coming on and getting too hot and burning my food. That is when I have it set to bake. Is it normal for the broil element to come on when its set to bake? What is wrong that the broil element is getting too hot?
1 Answer Hello Chris, It sounds like the broil relay on the control board is stuck. The relay board on this unit has been crossed to a part number 00702451. Read More...

Leonard March 11, 2012 for Model Number SCD2727P The display on my double oven was so dim that it couldn't be read in ambient light. I ordered the oven display repair kit (AP4829088), which I've just installed. I, now, have NO display, whatsoever, although I have power to the oven (as indicated by the "click" when I turn on the 240 v. circuit breaker). Is there some internal fuse or breaker that I've neglected to reset? This is the last of my kitchen appliances to (presently) be repaired. So far, I've induced my Maytag Neptune washer to high-speed spin (replaced the wax motor--after paying a "professional" appliance repairman $325, who left it as non-functional as he'd found it); my Frigidaire refridgerator to make ice (replaced the water-inlet valves) and reinforced the second set of knobs on my Jennaire cooktop (with 3/8" copper tubing, after paying $70 for replacements, which broke, just as the original ones had). When (and if) I can render my oven operational, I will be able to return to my day job--as an attorney. Help me, Obi Juan Kenobi--You're my only hope.
1 Answer Hello Leonard. Test for power coming to the relay board 00702451. If there is power there, and none to the display board, you will need to check and make sure you wired the board correctly. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
