Hi Rc. OK there are a few checks that need to be taken before ordering parts. In between both cavities (mid plenum) beside the door latch is a safety thermostat. It will open if defective or if it senses too high of heat. This will stop element heating. It needs to be checked for closed continuity with an ohm meter. It is part # 00414633. The bake element is part # 00367648. The broil element is part # 00367647. They need to be checked for opens or shorts. They usually ohm out between 11-23 ohms. You need to also check to see if they are shorted to the mount itself. Check and make sure the 240 vac is tight at the terminal block. If all this is verified good, then really the control board kit is needed. If you do not get 120 vac out at the bake relay while it commands it for heat , then this is that part # 00702451 . Thank You.

Lisa for Model Number SCD302TP

I ran a self clean cycle on my upper oven. When it was finished (or near finishing), it began to beep consistently and showed an FC on the panel. It would stop briefly by pressing OFF on the control panel, but to stop it entirely we had to flip the breaker. Once the oven completely cooled, the door unlocked, but the upper oven will not heat. The lower oven is fine. The fan works, lights work, and all of the display appears to work, but neither of the elements heat up.

Hi Lisa. To the right is a oven thermostat that will open under a high heat situation. This part # is 00414633. Remove the power to check to see if is open with an ohmmeter. You can temporarily bypass this by jumping these 2 wires together and cover with electrical tape. Then turn on the power and see if the upper bake operates again. Thank You.

Hello Betsy. The F7 code is saying the control board is reading a shorted key. You will need to check and make sure the ribbon cable is seated properly. If it is an F9, you will need to check the door lock switches. Hope this helps.
