Pk February 11, 2015 for Model Number FFBO206NW0A Dishwasher runs, but does not drain the water. Will not drain even if you press cancel. It will run through a cycle...which seems to take hours...and when it is over, there is still water in the bottom and the dishes are not clean.
1 Answer PK, You will want to check first to make sure that the drain pump is getting power to it. Pull the kickplate off and put your test leads between the 2 terminals of the motor and push drain cancel and see if there is power. If not then the control board will be the cause for the failure. If there is 120 vac then the motor is faulty and would need replaced. Read More...
Sohaibh October 04, 2014 for Model Number FDB1500LFC0 When the wash is mid-cycle, the lights which are on start blinking, and a clicking sound (similar to a relay clicking) can be heard over and over. Should I look into replacing the control board 154776601?
1 Answer Sohaibh, Based on the description it does sound like the issue with the unit would be the control board. Read More...
Steven July 04, 2014 for Model Number FFBD2409LS0A The green light on Normal wash is lit up but I am unable to change to any mode or start the dishwasher. I am unable to cancel or press any other setting. There is a small pool of water in the drain area. The float moves up and down fine. The latch works good. This first started about two months ago when the dishwasher would start fine and then the lights would flash and it wouldn't cycle through the wash. I would have to restart the wash cycle.
Jeremy G June 15, 2014 for Model Number FFBD2406NS0A My dishwasher will not turn on - no lights turn on. I have power through the door switch and to the control board. Is there a way I can test weather it's the control board or the switch assembly?
1 Answer Hello Jeremy. If there is power coming to the control board, and then no lights, you will need to order and replace the control board 5304512731 on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Ralph D. June 13, 2014 for Model Number FDB1100RHM2 My Frigidaire dishwasher will not complete washing cycle. The washing indicator light stay lit at all times. It will not show rinsing or drying. You can let it run for hours and it will just keep washing. I have replaced the control board and it did the same thing. I replaced both thermostats as well as the heating element and it still does the same thing. Do you have any ideas how to fix this problem?
1 Answer Hello Ralph, The unit is designed to pause and only circulate water during the water heating part of the cycle. The unit should be connected to a hot water supply of about 120° to 125°F and it has to heat the water to about 140°F. The control board has to see this water temperature increase to advance in the cycle. I would check for 120Vac to the heating element. If not there, check for continuity through the thermostat 154290204. If good, replace the control 5304512731. Read More...
Troy C June 08, 2014 for Model Number frigidaire model number ffbd240ns0a When i attempt to start the dishwasher the lights turn on but the washer will not start to work at all. I have checked the latch and it seems to be good and the float in free and in the down position. Thanks for the help, Troy
1 Answer Troy, If the door switches have continuity when you push the door closed and the unit is not turning on then the issue would be a faulty control board. Read More...
Stonecrusher May 04, 2014 for Model Number Frigidaire FFBD2407SLOA Our dishwasher is completely dead. Power to dishwasher but nothing past the point of connection. I have read things online about a fuse being blown. Does this model even have a fuse to regulate? Any tips or suggestions would be tremendously helpful. I also cannot locate a manual anywhere online.
1 Answer Stonecrusher, If there is no power getting to the control board then you will want to check the door switches to make sure that they are ok. This is the first point after the power supply connection before it gets to the control board. Read More...
Pat Adams April 15, 2014 for Model Number MRT18TRFW1 The fridge works sometime, and sometimes not, it's become unreliable. Fridge and freezer get warm (ambient) and interior light flickers whenever the refer door is open. I got PO'd once and slammed the freezer door (no ice), the unit kicked on and worked for a couple days, then stopped again. Slammed the freezer door again and it works. This has become a nightly-1 preventive maintenance check, but would like to really correct the problem. Thanks Pat
1 Answer Pat, In a lot of cases the reason the unit would warm up to room temp and not continue operation would be caused by a defrost timer that is sticking and not coming out of the defrost cycle. When you notice the unit not being on, instead of slamming the door, access the defrost timer and advance it and if the unit kicks on then that is the issue. Read More...
