Tom November 24, 2013 for Model Number FRS26LH5DQ1 Frigidaire refrigerator, model FRS26LH5DQ1, side by side refrigerator gets to 45 degrees or more in refrigerator side, the freezer side gets to -20 or more. Steve August 06, 2013 for Model Number FRS6R4EW2 My freezer will freeze and fridge will get cold if I manually turn the freezer knob to kick the compressor on.Once the compressor kicks off, my freezer will start to thaw, roughly 6-8 hours. But once I turn the freezer knob to the next number, the compressor kicks on and it starts freezing again. Seems like something isn't kicking the compressor on at any temp. Is this the freezer thermostat or the adaptive defrost? Or am I totally off base here?

Refer101 April 22, 2013 for Model Number 25353612300 Have recently replaced the defrost thermostat and the ADC board due to frost build up on back wall of refer. Frost build up is now showing on the top of the coil and one third down on the coil itself. Refer temp control must be set at eight and a half (8.5) for refer to make ice in ice maker and items in the refer not be frozen. Could this be caused by a failed refer temp control?
