Hello Gladys. Removing the drain pump assembly: 1. Disconnect the washer from the electrical supply and remove the front panel. Note: Some water will be left in the hoses and pump. 2. Disconnect the inlet sump from the pump assembly. 3. Disconnect the outlet hose from the pump assembly. 4. Remove the (2) screws, one on each side, holding the pump housing to the washer base. 4. Unplug the wires from the pump motor A00126501 and lift the pump assembly out. Hope this helps.

Hello Wendy! It is very possible that the chewed wire provides power to the drain pump, or to a component that triggers the drain cycle. You may want to repair or replace that wire and see if that fixes the issue. Hello Lou! Unfortunately, we do not have the information regarding the bearings inside the pump. If the pump is making a rattling noise it will need to be replaced. Your part number is A00126501. Thanks.

Hello James. If the hose is good, it sounds like the pump will need to be replaced. There is no rubber cover on the spout, only the hose. Hope this helps.
