Evan November 16, 2014 I have just replaced the ice dispenser actuator on my frigidaire glhs35ehsb6. Had some trouble replacing the water tube and had some leakage issues. Now after finally replacing tube the ice dispenser is dispensing ice when the door is shut instead of just making ice. Is something wrong with the board? Can this be replaced? Or does it just need to dry out a little. Ice dispenser works when dipressed.

1 Answer David, It sounds like the crushed/cube solenoid may be stuck and causing your issue. You will want to pull the ice bin out and check the solenoid next to the motor to make sure that it is not stuck in the up position. If it is then pull down on the solenoid arm and reinstall the ice bin. If this issue happens again or if the solenoid cannot be pulled down then the solenoid would need to be replaced. 1 Answer Lee, You will want to open the freezer door and pull out the ice bin. You will want to push the light switch and the dispenser lever and see if the auger motor turns. If it does then you will want to check to make sure the coupler 241726501 on the auger motor is not stripped as this can cause the issue of the ice not dispensing.
