Diy M. October 15, 2011 for Model Number WD12x10205 I am trying to replace the rinse aid dispenser on my GE Adora dishwasher, but I can't get wires removed from the plug on the existing (failed) dispenser. Is there a trick I'm missing?
1 Answer Hi DIY. With power removed, use a small screwdriver and insert it fully between the wax motor body and bottom of the connector itself. Gently pushing against the wax motor body to push off the connector. There are terminal locking tabs that you will be able to see in the middle of the connectors making it a challenge to release ,especially in this side ways connection. Soap dispenser part # WD12X10163. Thank You. Read More...
Sejal October 05, 2011 for Model Number GSD6600G00BB After removing the dispenser a clear plastic rod looking piece fell off. Where does this piece go. It has to be installed because water is leaking out of the dispenser when I turn the machine on.
1 Answer Hi Sejal. There is a "Z'-shape lever that hooks into the back of the dispenser and operates a wax motor on one end and a opener on the other. Reconnect this to the back into the formed opening. The dispenser assy. is part # WD12X10163. Thank You. Read More...

Stephen Cerrato September 11, 2011 for Model Number GHDA676N10SS We have a GE Adora GHDA676N10SS. The soap dispenser door seems to manually latch and unlatch fine. At end of wash cycle, the door is open, but the soap tablet is half dissolved in the dispenser or stuck dissolving to the door. Cleaned and dried it, and seal appears ok. Is replacing this unit the likely solution? If so, does it come with the electric actuator to open it as well?
1 Answer Stephen, have you noticed if the detergent door has not opened ? You have a different issue, if thats the case. The undisolved detergent and detergent trail on the door, indicates several things, the detergent cup door is being blocked by an article on the rack(s), the water is not hot enough(120 dgrs.in the tub on the first fill of a cycle). Not enough water in the tub( slow or poor fill due to clogged valve or water supply). You should also check and clean the sump cover and filter to insure proper water flow to the pump. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
