Joe, The part that it sounds like you are referring to would be the deflector assembly which would sit on top of the burner assembly. It would screw to the front part of the oven assembly then the oven bottom would go into the unit.

Hello Cindy. Yes, the install is basically the same as the oven. These are not hard to replace. We do not have a video at this time. Use the oven video and you should do just fine.

My Whirlpool gas oven takes over 40 minutes to preheat. I checked and I can see it glow as soon as I turn the oven on. I checked the broil and it also glowed as soon as I turned it on and then the flames came. As for the oven, I can see it glowing but then I smell gas, it takes awhile but eventually gets to the temp of 350, with occasional bursts of gas I presume. The burners on top work fine. I need to try to fix this myself, I cant afford the astronomical fees of the repairman. I have never repaired anything, but need to learn for survival at this time. :) Help!

Hello Veronica, On a wall oven you will remove the bottom of the bake compartment to access the bake ignitor and the broil ignitor is accessed from the bake compartment also. The video is only there to give a general understanding of how the part is changed out and it varies from model to model. I have never pulled a wall oven from the cabinets to change the ignitor.

Hello Donna, The model and serial numbers are both located on the units' I.D. tag. This is usually behind the edge of the drawer panel on the face of the unit. If not, it will be around the door on the front frame of the unit.
