The Switch (Fan) is an OEM part for GE range hoods. It controls the operation of the fan, allowing you to adjust the ventilation speed and ensure proper airflow while cooking. This switch is essential for maintaining a comfortable and odor-free kitchen environment.

Causes of a bad switch can include electrical failure, wear and tear from regular use, or physical damage due to impact. Ensuring the switch is functional is crucial for maintaining optimal ventilation performance.

Symptoms of a bad range hood switch include:

  • The fan not turning on or off
  • Difficulty in adjusting fan speeds
  • The switch feeling loose or not engaging properly
  • Inconsistent or intermittent fan operation

This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

Use part WB02X11325 for the nut - no longer included with the switch.

Hello Bill, Without a model number, we have no way of knowing the rating on the switch or how it mounts. Many times on a hood assembly, if you remove the electrical cover, you may actually find the units' I.D. label. If you can locate it, please contact us and we will do our very best to assist you in your repair.
