Bert February 28, 2023 for Model Number part #WB24X10129 I am trying to find a wiring guide to replace a GE vent hood fan switch. I have the part, which is a 3-speed switch + off but when installed, it only has off, high low and then two more clicks which do nothing? I think I may have the wiring incorrect of the switch is faulty?

Ronnie Bratt September 14, 2019 for Model Number jv3482lss i got there new ge switch but I do not know what wires go in the four positions for the fan. Need wiring diagram I have a blue, red and two blacks. Thanks I put in the wires in the original position but it still does work. I know the motor works. Thanks.

1 Answer Sagun, Here is the instructions for removing the control panel to replace the fan switch. 1. Disconnect all wire connectors to the motor, light and control panel. 2. Pull to remove knob on the control panel. A 3. Cover the Lexan® control panel surface with tape to prevent scratching. 4. Locate the long push rods holding the control panel in place. Remove the screws holding the rods. Slide rods out of the slots. Set screws and rods aside. B 5. Carefully, rotate and slide the control panel through the opening on the right side. C 6. Check and/or change all components creating reported problems. TO REINSTALL THE CONTROL PANEL: • Rotate and slide control panel into the opening at the right side. • Hold control panel in place while inserting the long push rods through the slots in the light panel support. • Loosely reinstall screws through the rod, panel and into the cage nut. • Use fingers to hold the panel in correct position while tightening screws. • Reinstall the light cover with original screws. • Restore power and test the controls and lights.
