Hello Richard, You can either unplug the unit and prop the doors open or pull the tech sheet and force a defrost cycle. I'm sorry but I cannot pull any information with the model number provided as it is not coming up as a valid model number. Jennifer, You will want to test the defrost heater WP67004188 and defrost thermostat WP67004757 for continuity. If either one of these parts has no continuity then replace that part. If they both check ok then the adaptive defrost board would be the issue. The part number for the board is W11227239.

Hello Peggy, If there is a frost build-up in the rear wall for the freezer compartment, it will be a d3efrost issue. If there is no frost build-up, look for a fan not running and/or the damper being clogged with a frost build-up from an air leak from either the ice door or around a door seal.

Hello David, These boards are susceptible to damage from moisture. You should check the ice door and the door seals. If no leaks are located, you should just chock it up to a failed board. The only way I would be concerned is if the board burns out the same way every time. Then you might want to pull the tech sheet and trace the circuit for a possible high current draw from a component lacking the proper resistance.

Steve, This issue sounds like the unit is stuck in defrost. Unplug the unit for 5 minutes and then turn it back on. If the unit comes on then replace the defrost control board.
