Hello Brenda, to remoce the control panel you will need to remove the side trim. When you open the oven door there will be a screw toward the bottom of the opening that you will have to remove. Remove screw on either side and remove trim by pulling on the bottom out approximately 2" and slide top down to free from control panel. Once removed you will remove the 1 screw on either side of control panel. Once out you wil pull control panel out from the botton, and lift and unkhook it from the oven cabinet support at the top.

Jim for Model Number GBD307PRB01

The other day the oven was working fine, then a day later the display is dark and when you hit the "upper oven" button and then start it makes sequential beeps (also beeps trying to start the lower oven). The light button turns on the light and it appears the timer works, though I cannot see anything. How can I determine if the control board is bad (part 8303883) or if it is a thermal fuse or the transformer? What should be checked first, second etc? Thanks

1 Answer

Hello Jim, The thermal fuse and transformer are good or you would not get the beeping sounds. The issue here is the clock assembly WPW10438750. The sounds you are hearing where you stated that the unit is trying to start the lower oven is a relay trying to close. The low voltage stage of the control is the part that has failed.
