Hello D, the manufacturer offers the door switch as one assembly,(W10128087), it is not designed to be taken apart.

Russell, the rollers used in the maintenance kit 4392067 are the same ones recommended by the manufacturer for your model. As the rollers WPW10314173 are not supposed to have a gap between them and the roller shafts, they can become difficult to slide onto the shaft if there is a slight tilt of the roller when installing. A damaged roller shaft can also cause difficulty installing the rollers as the slightest bur can stop it.

Hello Bruce, yes access the rear drum rollers to check if one is binding, if it close to the heater duct check your exhaust venting, a restricted vent can cause that area to overheat and dry up the roller lubricant.

Topher for Model Number WED 9151YWO....Whirlpool

I just installed the roller/belt items in a friends dryer. Also did this to mine...6 years old, hers was one of the first front loaders, similar to mine listed under Model Number to the left. So, in your video, you ALWAYS say the metal TAB on the dryer drum must fact forward. When I removed hers, the tab was at the rear. I removed the drum and upon re-installation, thought I'd try putting the metal TAB to the front. Now, she didn't have problems with it the way it was. I connected the belt and it absolutely would not line-up with the old belt mark. Turn and adjust as I may, NO CIGAR. So, I removed the drum and put it back the WAY I FOUND IT....TAB TO THE REAR. Belt on, tracked the old belt-mark perfectly! So, clearly, putting the tab to the front on this drum, was entirely ineffective. This drum just like mine. So, WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH THE TAB? Thanks, Chris

Topher, There really is no significance in what the orientation of the tab is. You just want to pay attention to how it comes out and put it back in the same way.

Mike, In most cases, there is a diagram somewhere on your unit that shows the correct way to install the belt. Also, make sure that the belt is straight above the motor pulley around the drum. put this part number in our site and watch the video to see how the belt goes around the pulleys.661570V

Hello Mary, You will need to remove the main top, the control panel, the kick panel, and the main front. This will allow you to pull the drum and install the new belt. If you post a new question that includes an email address, we can send you some illustrated pages with instructions on how to perform these steps.

Hello Bill, dryer rollers do not require any type of additional lubrication for their service life. Their bearings are usually sintered metal that has been impregnated with a light oil, as the bearing wears more lubricant is exposed. The roller shafts are highly polished to ensure low wear. If the rollers are worn, noisy or vibrate they need to be replaced along with the shafts that usually have score marks. Adding extra lube of any kind will not compensate for a worn bearing and the lube will only collect the very fine lint in the area of the bearing and will cause more problems.
