Randall January 06, 2012 for Model Number 110-629222100 on front of unit inside door Do you have a drawing and dirrections to remove/replace the heating element to this sears model 90 series cloths dryer? I do not have heat and need to verify it is bad.
1 Answer Hello Randall. You will need to remove the bottom toe panel with a flat blade, and you will see the element WP3387747 on the lower right hand side. Remove the wires and test it for continuity. It should read closed. If open, you will need to replace the element. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Pat November 10, 2011 for Model Number MEDC700VWD MY CLOTHES DO NOT DRY COMPLETELY. THE VENTS ARE CLEAN AND NOT CRIMPED.
1 Answer Pat, The easiest check for you to do, disconnect the exhaust vent from the back of the dryer, clean the lint filter and select the highest temperature setting on the control. Load the drum 1/3 to 1/2 full, with wet clothes and start the dryer. If the dryer is heating properly, the load should be done in 45 to 55 minutes, and everything should be well dried(except small articles). Good Luck and Thanks Read More...

George S September 17, 2011 when I remove the toe panel on the front why would there be so much lint in the bottom of the dryer?
1 Answer George, there are several reasons, first check and make sure the exhaust vent hose is attached to the exhaust pipe properly, and there are no holes in the vent work, thats the most commeon issue. You also need to consider the fact that there is not an air tight seal system in a dryer. There is some air that escapes aroung the drum seals, filter and pipes. Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
Tim August 28, 2011 for Model Number 11060932990 i am running my dryer with out the vent. my clothes are damp when cycle ends
1 Answer Tim, It's not likely a heating element issue, it could be that you're "recycling" moist air back into the dryer and causing it to take longer to dry. You are doing the basics, also check and clean the sensor bars located on the inside of the lint filter housing(inside the drum) with alcohol, you could have a softner build up and the bars are not sensing th moisture of the clothes properly. Jason August 24, 2011 for Model Number gew9200lw0 The only way to get cloths dry is to time dry them. Could the problem be the timer Or?
1 Answer Hi Jason. Is the Dryer giving any fault codes? If You get a E1 or E2 then you change the thermistor part # is WP8577274. Otherwise it is imperative that you get the technician tech sheet (under the top or the side) and perform a diagnostic test mode. This way you can be positive about changing the control board. Thank you. Read More...
