BB, It is possible that you receive a bad fan motor but will want to test to see if you have 120 vac to the condenser motor. If there is power then the fan motor is bad and if there is not then this would be a faulty control board W10219463.

We had a large spike of voltage come into my house taking out my microwave and the refrigerator. I have voltage coming into the inverter board but the DC red and black coming out has nothing. Could it have taken out just that inverter board or could it have taken out more than that? We heard a loud pop coming from underneath the fridge. Can you send me a voltage schematic so I can check the points to determine which part I will need to order from you? I also want to replace all the plastic water lines since my water is tasting bad. Do you have a kit for this fridge as well? Thank you!

Jon, There is no way to check the inverter board itself. All you can do is make sure the other wires have the correct voltage and test the compressor at the three pins for the same resistance between any two. It can be all 8 or all 10 as long as they are all the same. You missing the voltage to the inverter would mean you have to replace the board for sure.WP2307037 Then retest for proper voltage and if the compressor doesn't run the inverter would need to be replaced.

My refrigerator compressor keeps cycling on and off. It head happening about 1 time per week and now after 3 weeks of doing it now cycles on and off every 2 min. Any idea what this could be? When it does turn off the power inside to the temperature control panel still remains eliminated. If it were not for the fact that everything is still on inside when it does it, the symptoms are like someone cutting off power to the fan and compressor intermittently?!?

Sean, Sending you an email on how to test the inverter down at your compressor and voltages that come from your main control.

Hello David, You will need to simply slip a small screwdriver between the connector and the compressor and gently pry it off. It will need to come off evenly so do this slowly and it will come off easier than trying to pry it off quickly.
