John June 23, 2016 for Model Number whirlpool wdt790sayw3 Hi, The top & bottom spray arms are not getting any water. System drains, water hits 128degrees, but no water comes out of the spray arms. Thank you,
1 Answer Hello John. Test for power to the pump motor. If it is there, and the pump does not run, you will need to replace the pump W11032770 on the unit. Read More...
Jeff May 18, 2016 for Model Number WDT910SAYM3 Have had this DW for over a year. Now doesn't drain all the sudden. Checked hose - no blockage. Replaced drain pump, still doesn't drain. What can I do next to troubleshoot? Any other areas where blockage could occur? I feel like I've checked the entire water path... Does this model have a check valve? A solenoid? If so, in what part? Finally, what is MP SNGL PHAS part? Might that be one to check or replace? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Jeff. The water goes from the pump to the drain. If the pump is new, then either the wiring is bad or the control board is bad on the unit. Read More...

Ms Ann December 03, 2015 for Model Number WDT720PADM1 I tested the motor fuse and the triac fuse and if the motor fuse is bad what part do I replace? I did not see any fuses on the diagrams or parts lists. Same question for the Triac Fuse. Can your help?
1 Answer Hello Ms. Ann. Sorry, the model number you provided does not use any fuses. If the motor is bad it will need to be replaced. Read More...
Nick March 25, 2015 for Model Number 66513032k113 Hello - I don't need a whole pump assembly, just the ~90 degree hose that is attached to it. Didn't see a part number for it on the diagram. Is there anyway I can just order the hose and clamps? Thanks.
Adrian January 23, 2015 for Model Number WDT910SSYM0 I know I need to replace the pump motor, p/n W10510667. How difficult is this to repair for an amateur. Should I also replace the grommet W10195068?
1 Answer Adrian, To remove the pump motor, you will want to turn the power off to the unit. Once off you will then take the kickplate off and disconnect the cords to the pump and once this is done disconnect the pump from the sump and remove. Read More...
Joe December 04, 2014 for Model Number WDF730PAYT3 Washer fills up but does not wash. It will empty when cancel is pushed.
1 Answer Hello Joe. Check and see if there is power coming to the motor. If so, you will need to replace the motor. If not, then the control board will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Jts11050 November 02, 2014 for Model Number WDF780SLYB0 I have a similar problem to "the most interesting" question. It appears my unit - also about two years old - is leaking in way of the vertical outlet at the center of the motor. Do I need the motor pump assembly to correct the problem? What causes the water to drip from the center of the motor? Is it a failed valve in the motor itself?
1 Answer JTS11050, The leak from the center of the motor would be caused by a bad seal in which you will need to replace the pump motor for this issue. The part number for the pump motor is W11032770. Read More...
Scott April 10, 2014 for Model Number WDT790SAYMO Dishwasher, Whirlpool WDT790SAYMO about 2 years old. Problem 1) Dishwasher first started leaking from what seems to be underneath, right in the very middle. This was apparently happening for some time. Problem 2) Dishwasher will not run now. It fills just fine, and drains just fine when you push cancel. But when it would normally do a wash (where you here it kind of pump and spin and surge water over and over), it now just "clicks" with a little bit of a hum--no water surge sound... Repair person tried to fix by putting in a new part W10537869. That didn't work, still just "clicks" Can't tell if it leaks or not with that new part. Just clicks and does not function.
1 Answer Hello Scott. It sounds like the pump and motor assembly WPW10605057 will need to be replaced in the unit. If there is power to the motor, and it does not run, you will need to replace this part. Read More...
Bill February 05, 2014 for Model Number 665.13289K110 What does part number W10537869 do? Also what does part W10510667 do???
1 Answer Bill, The W10510667 pump motor, in short, is the wash motor. It pressurizes the water in the dishwasher and moves it through out the manifold and spray arms . The W10537869 is a diverter motor, the control board energizes the motor on the diverter and the diffuser moves to direct the pressurized water to the main(lower spray arm) and or the upper spray arm or spinner. then you have a separate drain pump W10348269 to drain the water from the tub. What is the issue with your dishwasher ? Read More...
