I have a Maytag Bravos XL top load washer with the glass top (so I can see what's happening). It just recently started overfilling the dispensers -soap, fabric softener and bleach - they overfill and dump it over the side which ends up dripping down the outside of the tub. It seems to start filling the dispenser normally and then it's like the pressure doubles and it's just too much for the dispensers capacity. It started doing it just to the fabric softener and now it's all three. i am assuming there is a valve or sensor that has gone bad. Ideas? Otherwise, it operates normally, I just have to wipe up the floor everytime I use it.

Stanley, You will need to disconnect the hoses from the washer and the faucets, remove and clean all the sediment and debris from the filter screens in the fill hose and in the end of the inlet valve, you can also replace them if you decide to. You will also need to flush the water supply lines and faucets(run the faucets a minute or so, until the water is clear) The rinse cycle in your washer is automatically "cold" water(energy efficiency) and the cold supply has more sediment in it than the hot water supply, so it will flow at a less rate and pressure, causing the solenoid to "buzz" and require a lot more time to fill the tub.

In the normal wash mode, washer starts to do normal things. When it goes into the fill mode it will continue to fill to the top of the drum, at that time the clock changes for 40 min time remaining to 4 minutes and then drains completing passing the wash mode. After it drains, it will start to spin and then give an "OL" code (I had 1 queen sheet in drum) a service tech was out and changed the board (pn 10051176 rev b) twice and it did not fix anything. HELP thank you .

Dennis, The OL is for an overloaded washer. Of course with the water filling too high then you will want to check the pressure switch and pressure hose to make sure that they are not clogged.

Hello Donna. F then 51 flashes when there is a motor rotor position sensor (RPS) failure or lower harness problem. You need to check the harness first. If it is good, then replace the RPS sensor.
