Matthew, the belt 661570V will need to be inspected as well as the thermal fuse WP3392519 and belt switch 279782 (when in the operating position) being tested for continuity. If these items check good, then the wiring will need to be inspected for any breaks, and if there are no breaks, then the most likely failure would be in the motor assembly W10841144.

Kennedy, you will want to check to ensure that the dryer is receiving 240VAC at the terminal block from L1 terminal to L2 terminal. If there is not 240VAC, then you will want to check the outlet for 240VAC to verify if the cord is the issue or if the power supply may be causing this. A breaker may have tripped if there is not 240VAC at the outlet, if the breaker tripped, you may want to verify that there are no loose or crossed connections at the motor after unplugging the unit. If there is 240VAC going to the terminal block, you will want to unplug the unit and check the wiring at the motor and heater assembly for any loose connections. From there, you will want to test the thermostats and thermal fuses for continuity to ensure that they are properly operating. From there, you will want to go to connection J14 and test from pin 3 to pin 6 and it should read around 8.5 to 10.5 KOhms at a room temperature of 80 degrees Fahrenheit. If this checks good, then there would be an issue with the main control [W11038755]. If it does not check good, then there is an issue with the outlet thermistor [WP8577274].

Ben,you will need a multimeter to check for the cause this problem. The beep you hear at start is the control board acknowledging your keypad press. The fact that it is counting down means the control board is running the cycle. You will need to access the main control board and start the dryer and and check for 120v coming out at terminal connection P9-1 light blue wire to P8-3 white .If there is no 120v then replace the main control board. If there is 120v then turn off the dryer, ,disconnect the power cord or shut off the dryer circuit breaker, access the thermal fuse ( with light blue wires going to it) mounted on the blower housing and check the thermal fuse is open , if so it will be need to be replaced and also check if the heater element is shorted/grounded to the chassis as that will cause an overheat and trip the thermal fuse.
