Bunchy March 31, 2012 for Model Number KHWS01PWH0 on spin cycles the basket wabbles and makes a loud noise,i saw pieces of hard plastic melted and clean the pump out also found a sock and alot of plastic do i need to replace only the the front outer tub?
1 Answer Bunchy, We would have to think you'll need more than just the front tub assembly. You didn't mention any abnormal noises, but if there is plastic chips in the drain pump, and the inner basket is wobbling, you'd have to suspect a worn out tub bearing ( rear tub assembly) W10772618 or cracked or broken spin basket support arm WPW10269756 as well. Geo October 22, 2011 for Model Number 11045992400 I have a front load Kenmore washer that has the inner tub spindle shaft that mounts to the back of inner tub. It broke. Do I have to buy a new inner tub or can I just buy the spindle shaft that drives the pulley and belt? The bearings in the outer tub are fine.
1 Answer Hello Geo! The manufacture does not offer this part separately, you will have to purchase the basket WPW10269756 to obtain the spindle. Sorry about that! Read More...
Charlie M. October 14, 2011 for Model Number WFW9500TCo1 I know the tub bearing is bad. Can I replace it without removing the entire basket? If I do have to remove the basket, can I order a diagram of it when I order the bearing?
1 Answer Hi Charlie. You will need the Rear pulley nut part # WPW10283361. You will need the rear outer tub part # W10772614 because you cannot press in new bearings ( All Front loader design). The inner spin basket has a spinner support affixed to the back of the drum for the shaft to connect to the rear main pulley. Basket part # is WPW10250573. The tub gasket is also needed part # is W10772613. See your e-mail for instructions. Thank You. Read More...
Kristy May 19, 2011 for Model Number GHW9300PW4 When I washed a load of clothes, water started rushing out of the washer under the door. The grey liner between the drum and the door has a big hole in it. Can I replace just this or is it the entire inside that needs to be replaced?

Alan May 05, 2011 for Model Number ghw9250mq0 There is a loud banging noise when the washer is in the spin cycle. There is gray plastic in the front rubber liner. Looks a gasket or seal is worn between the inner and outer tub by the door. What's the problem, and what is that part called?
1 Answer Hello Alan. It sounds like the tub bearing W10772618 is bad and has worn the front outer tub assembly W10772607. You will need to replace both parts to do a proper repair. If the shaft is wore on the inner tub WPW10269756, you will need to replace it as well. Hope this helps. Read More...
Marc April 10, 2011 for Model Number MFW9800TKO My bearing went out and caused some internal damage to my washer. I had the service man come to fix. I do not remember what parts he replaced but I remember 2 big boxes and 1 small box of parts. When he left I inspected the washer an noticed the Front Tub Outer is worn through on the edge in some places. Is it ok to operate the washer like this? It is not leaking water. Thank you
1 Answer Marc, You're OK. You may want to get some emory cloth and lightly sand the damaged areas that may snag the clothing, and watch the overloading. Sounds like you had a tub bearing failure, causing the spin tub to spin out of alignment and damaged the outer tub assembly. Hope this was helpful, Good Luck Read More...
Andrea March 26, 2011 for Model Number WFW94005W My front load Whirlpool duet ht, it leaks. It looks to be leaking from underneath close to the front. I know that the rubber seal it was out. Kids doing laundry and packed it full and when the pulled out the cloths/blankets. there was a wire that was out and it held the grey seal in and ever since I has been leaking. Do I need a new seal? and How much would one be?
1 Answer Hello Andrea. Did you replace the wire that came out? That probably was the clamp that holds the boot gasket in place. If you did it's possible it might not be on tight enough. You might also want to look at the gasket closely to make sure there are no rips or tears in it. The part number for the door gasket is part number WP8182119. Hope this helps. Read More...
