Joeinnc October 08, 2011 for Model Number RBS275PDQ10 Oven was cleaned on the self-clean cycle.Has power. Will not heat.Sears repair could/would not service until I had an electrician disconnect the power so the oven could be removed from the enclosure. Technician indicated it could be the Thermal Overload switch. Should I order and replace my self after I pay an electrician to disconnect the oven? Takes Sears about 5 business days to schedule a service visit!! Tks, Joe
1 Answer Hello Joe. If the oven does not heat, and they said the thermal overload 14-21-002 was bad, it should reapir the oven if you replace it. Hope this helps. Read More...
Enrico September 19, 2011 for Model Number RBS275PDQ14 My question is, how can I test the clock assembly AP3851248, to see if it's OK? Thank you.
1 Answer Hello Enrico. You will test for power coming out of the relays on the back of the clock, going to the element. If there is power coming into the clock, but not out when in bake mode, the clock WP8302994 is bad on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
