Robert O October 09, 2012 for Model Number WTW5810SW 0 I am planning to replace the Water Level Switch on my Whirlpool machine, but am unable to locate the 2 screws that I need to remove to remove the control panel. How do I find them?
1 Answer Hello Robert. This model does not use screws. Disconnect the power to the unit. Release the two clips under the corners of the control panel securing the control panel. You can use a flat blade putty or butter knife to do this. Pull the control panel forward and flip it backwards. Read More...
Robert O October 08, 2012 for Model Number WTW5810SW I am unable to turn the shaft on the water level switch without great difficulty. I had to remove the knob and use a pair of pliers to get it out of the "Extra Small" position. Now I'm stuck in the "Large" load position. The shaft is partially damaged at the tip from doing this. What would cause the switch to stick and is there any solution other than replacement?

Self Repairman September 06, 2012 for Model Number LSB6200PQ2 Hi, I had the following problem: The water would come into the tub, but the water would not stay so the water would just run without filling up. After I replacing the Water Level switch and the Water Inlet Value the problem was fixed. However, a month later the same problem came back. The water is not over flowing nor is it running on the floor. The water in coming in, but something is not telling the machine to hold the water until it is tool to drain. Any help will be appreciated.
1 Answer Hello. It sounds like a siphoning issue. Pull the drain hose out of the drain pipe and make sure there is only 6" of drain hose stuck into the drain pipe, and that there is a air gap so the drain hose does not siphon. Read More...
Elvis H. July 23, 2012 for Model Number TAWX700PQ2 My washer has this problem. The water comes in and doesn't get to the correct level and continues to come in. And it doesn't start a cycle.
1 Answer Hello Elvis. If you can stop the water from entering the machine by turning off the timer or unplugging the unit, you will need to look for a bad pressure hose or replace the pressure switch. If the only way to shut off the water is at the shut off for the water hoses, you will need to replace the water valve in the unit. Read More...

Rocky F. April 27, 2012 for Model Number lsq9200pq4 Fills then stops. You can advance by moving dial. Then works fine.
1 Answer Hi Rocky. Remove the power. Remove the back cover. Use a same size of hose to blow back into the pressure switch. Then as you have the unit in a normal cycle with the timer pulled out, see if the unit runs now. Or with the power disconnected, jumper the violet and the yellow with the tan wire at the pressure switch. If it runs replace the pressure switch part # W10337780. Thank You. Read More...
Todd November 28, 2011 for Model Number 11020902991 Kenmore washer. The washer continued to fill to overflowing. I have run the washer and unplugged it. The water stopped, so it doesn't appear to be the water inlet valve AP3094541. The washer stopped filling when unplugged so I replaced the water level switch AP4567828. I also replaced the pressure tube that came with the water level switch. The water still continues to fill to overflow. What should I look at now?
1 Answer Hello Todd. Check and make sure the air dome for the pressure hose is not clogged. Blow through the hose and make sure there are no air leaks where the hose attaches. If so, any of this will cause the problem you are having. Hope this helps. Read More...

1 Answer Hello Jose. Yes, if sounds like the pressure switch is bad on the unit. You can test and see if it is sending power to the water valve. If not, you will need to replace the pressure switch. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
