Failed to start Philip P. • New York , NY • November 22, 2014
My unit would sometimes start. Sometimes not. Reset and start are the same key and either it did nothing or it would drain or it would start.
While the video did match my unit. It was close enough to help. I removed the front per the video and snapped in the new control strip. Fixed in less than 10 minutes with only a manual screwdriver.

Maytag quiet series 300 "start" light blinking and would not turn on Chris F. • Middletown , NJ • August 01, 2015
Given that I had 14 house guests for a week, I tried calling a Maytag repair man to expedite the fix - unfortunately, he didn't have the part, but did identify the problem as a bad control panel. I ordered the part (#W10235721) from Appliance Part Pros (which was quick and easy) and received the right part the first time and very quickly.
To replace the control panel, the Maytag guy said about $200 plus the part. If you have a torx screw driver set, you can do this repair in 15 minutes. ...

No lights on dishwasher control panel Matt P. • Yorktown , VA • September 22, 2014
I replaced the control panel. I guess the problem could also have been the control board. I felt more certain about purchasing the control panel after removing the old one, and ohm-ing out pins that should have indicated small resistance when pressing front panel buttons, but all indicated open circuit. A result of moisture that ruined the thin wires in the ribbon cable, apparently a common problem of the Maytag/Whirlpool dishwashers and the subject of a class action lawsuit (Maytag would...

Ordered a new control panel and installed it; The repair is super easy and it would not take more than 10 minutes were I to do it again but because I had never done anything like this before I got stuck at one point and it took me a lot longer. I could not figure out how to get the electrical box off the old control panel - it was just a matter of bending the middle part of the plastic clips but I had not seen that kind of clip before and it was not immediately evident. I was afraid to force...

Simply wanted to change the color of the front panel on our undercounter whirlpool dishwasher H David K. • Stroudsburg , PA • January 22, 2016
I discovered the required part on your website (a black front-panel) and ordered it on line. I was shocked when it was delivered by FedEx in only two days after ordering !! After watching an on-line video showing how to replace the front panel of the dishwasher, I put together the right tools (only needed a Torx #T15 star-shaped bit screwdriver) and -- with my wife's help to hold the panel tight to the door -- had the job done in about 10 minutes total. Not bad !! We had fun doing it...
