Took out 3 torx screws on each side, much of the insides fell out at this point. At this point I had the new part and what was left of the old part and the adjust lever. Screwed them back together and that was that. The new support piece was not needed.

Also, I cleaned the food grinder and the discharge valve compartment (thank you very ???? ???? much, Internet), so spray arms around the top rack get enough water pressure now. I didn't have to buy any parts for the latter part of this little repair project, though.
