No water circulation. Matthew L. • Olney , MD • July 03, 2019
Replaced entire pump & motor assembly. Before doing the repair, I also noticed that the fill hose was crimped. This dishwasher has never filled with quite enough water, so that's why! Replaced the water inlet valve just to be sure. Dishwasher is running better than ever!

Loud noise when running Dallas L. • Blackfoot , ID • February 09, 2018
I started looking at new dishwashers and was quickly disheartened with the cost of these simple machines. There's really not much to them and yet they're so much money for what they do. I popped off the pump and took a look at it and cleared some "gunk" and hair out but it didn't fix the issue. Jumped on AppliandPartsPros.com and ordered the pump on a Friday night and had the part in hand Tuesday night after work.
Took about 10 minutes total (dishwasher out and back installed, literally in...

Low water pressure / arms not spinning Wilbur C. • Washington , DC • October 13, 2014
Used vids on youtube for steps on how to disassemble and install the pump; search "Bosch dishwasher circulation pump replacement". Also on AppliancePartsPro forums, a poster put up the Bosch "Dishwasher Service Training Manual" in .pdf. Search "Bosch dishwasher low pressure" on the forum. It's one of the post with the longest thread.
Six pointers.
1. In another forum post, the poster noted that some hoses were brittle with age - and cracked when reinstalling. I had same issue (my washer is...

I have a roll out whirlpool dishwasher that wasn't cleaning properly Andrew M. • Spokane , WA • January 22, 2020
I've had to repair this appliance before, and it's almost always the motor-pump that needs replacing. It's a pretty easy fix if you have a roll out dishwasher. All you have to do is flip the dishwasher on its back, unhook the pump (no tools required, just push down the locking tab and twist and disconnect the wiring), and plug in the new one. I noticed that the tub wasn't draining completely either, so I replaced the drain pump as well just to be on the safe side. If, as I did, you let this...

The ge profile dishwasher wasn't draining even after i cleaned the traps Benjamin B. • Prescott Valley , AZ • February 02, 2017
I had clogs before, so I knew this wasn't the case. When I tried the "rinse and hold" setting, the water would fill, but no sound when it tried to drain. I suspected the pump. Searching through YouTube, I found a helpful video for the GE Profile unit. In fact, the video directed me to this site for parts. It seemed simple enough to replace and I verified the part number to order. I pulled out the dishwasher, laid it on it's side, swapped the part, put it back in, and tested. It now works...

7 yr old ge profile dishwasher blower was making loud humm during drying cycle Robert L. • Rocky Hill , NJ • October 10, 2016
I had a repairman in to check why machine had no power. I watched as he opened the door up and secured the electrical ribbon in place and lights on control panel came on. Asked him questions about the noise he confirmed it was the blower. would have charged me around $250.00 to replace that. Spoke to a rep on the phone and ordered the part for $100.00. The replacement part arrived in 1 day. Looked at the parts diagram on your site to orient myself. Separated the the front door( screws)...

Broken base spray arm tab that holds the bottom rotating spray arm in place Barry G. • Sinking Spring , PA • August 24, 2015
In the How to fix it your self section of Questions and Answers, your answers for removing the Base Spray Arm is incorrect. It states "just stick a screw driver into the base spray arm from inside the tub and turn", that does not work. Their are 2 tabs that in gauge the base spray arm with the tub. A 4 prong round wrench is required to insert from the bottom into the pump connector and turn the nut that sits inside.

Dishwasher sump/motor assembly failed Kirk H. • Covina , CA • August 02, 2025
Dishwasher failed to run normal cycle. Would fill and then empty, but would not run through the normal rinse/clean cycle. Determined that the Sump/Motor Assembly needed to be replaced. Dishwasher had to be pulled out to access part. Was difficult to snap into place and had to maneuver several times to get a tight seal before reattaching peripheral components. Ran a one-hour cycle to test for leaks and efficiency before reinstalling unit under counter.
