I figured after 10.5 years that it might be time to replace the dispenser hoses because I was noticing black stuff in the dispenser trays. I replaced two or the four hoses and clamps on the far left side and for good measure the hot water inlet valve. I replaced the drain pump and hose which had a flapper valve that wasn’t sealing properly. Easy repair. Took about 15 minutes total and my washing machine is Soooo much quieter!!! Read more

I changed the pump and also discovered the coin trap was wearing thin because it was rubbing against the sheet metal. So I replaced that as well. It took about 15 minutes to remove the coin trap and pump and about 20 minutes to install. The shipping was amazingly fast. I received the parts the next morning. Replaced the drain pump assembly. Took about 90 minutes. Most difficult part was getting to the hoses and clamps in inside the machine at the bottom front. Just had to open the back panel and work inside. About the same difficulty as changing the radiator hoses on an automobile engine. Read more

The easiest way to fix the problem was to order a new water pump from AppliancePartsPros. This washer is located in our motorhome and was a real challenge to remove from its location so that we could work on it.
