Little black specks in the dispenser tray calicum build up and rusted clamps on rear of dispenser Paul B. • San Diego , CA • January 30, 2017
I figured after 10.5 years that it might be time to replace the dispenser hoses because I was noticing black stuff in the dispenser trays. I replaced two or the four hoses and clamps on the far left side and for good measure the hot water inlet valve. The inlet valve was okay but the screen had all kinds of crap in there that I couldn't clean out so now I have an extra solenoid just in case one of the others fails. While I was at it I removed the dispenser and cleaned the calcium build up on...

My water pump went out on the wash machine Marty B. • Redding , CA • January 16, 2015
I ordered the parts myself. A prominent appliance store in town told me it would be very difficult to get the parts needed. However, I found it to be relatively easy! After taking apart the washer (with a little help from Youtube). I made the repair myself, and now my wife can do the laundry!

The problem was ice buildup on the floor of the freezer William B. • Pahoa , HI • January 15, 2016
A YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIdtNdDXFDk , by a professional appliance repair company described replacement of the freezer drain pipe with Kenmore's (by Whirlpool) revised drain pipe. Ice buildup inside the freezer was caused by warm air beneath the freezer contacting cold air from inside the freezer the resulting condensation freezing and blocking the drain, causing the ice buildup inside. The revised drain tube functions as a p-trap to prevent cold/warm air interaction....

Water remained in the tub on my front load washer. Peter Y. • Alameda , CA • November 13, 2017
I changed the pump and also discovered the coin trap was wearing thin because it was rubbing against the sheet metal. So I replaced that as well.
It took about 15 minutes to remove the coin trap and pump and about 20 minutes to install.
The shipping was amazingly fast. I received the parts the next morning. I'm talking I ordered the parts before noon, chose the "fast shipping" option and received parts the next morning around 8:30 AM.

Replaced the drain pump assembly. Took about 90 minutes. Most difficult part was getting to the hoses and clamps in inside the machine at the bottom front. Just had to open the back panel and work inside. About the same difficulty as changing the radiator hoses on an automobile engine.

Frigidaire washer not draining water and loud noise while trying to drain water Tolga A. • Sammamish , WA • September 18, 2015
When I removed a bunch of very wet soaking towels at the end of a wash cycle, it was clear that the water was not draining properly. The washer also made a very loud noise during the water drain period. That was suspicious. I ordered the part, opened the washer, removed the old pump and faced with a nasty surprise.
You may laugh at this, but there was a toothpick in the old drain pump! most of it was still there, and it seemed like the toothpick was stuck in the pump in such a position that it...

Our whirlpool washing machine would not drain the water due to a problem with the solenoid on the water pump Betty D. • Mesa , AZ • October 24, 2015
The easiest way to fix the problem was to order a new water pump from AppliancePartsPros. This washer is located in our motorhome and was a real challenge to remove from its location so that we could work on it. After my husband replaced the water pump, the washer drains the water and works perfectly.
