The water pump in my compact whirlpool washer was making an incredible racket and wouldn't drain Charles H. • Jacksonville , FL • June 26, 2015
Very simple repair really. Unplugged the washer, moved the washer in order to have access to the back panel. Remove 13 #20 torx screws holding the back panel on ; then removed back panel. Open the filter access on the front bottom of the washer to drain any remaining water, be sure to have a towel ready, as if the pump is bad, there's bound to be quite a bit. Looking at the washer from the back, the bottom left contained the pump. Remkve the two electric connectors and move out of the way....

Kenmore fh error code Michael H. • Cataula , GA • January 18, 2015
I had a problem with the drain pump on my Kenmore HE3 and I replaced it using a drain pump I ordered from APP. That fixed that problem but once I started running the washer I started getting a FH error code. I looked it up and found that it was a problem with the washer not filling properly. I pulled the washer out and found that one of the fill hoses had kinked when I pushed the washer back in place. There was also some writing on the hose that read "Change hose every five years". I know I had...

The washing machine was full of water and it wouldn't drain or spin out it started but then quickly stopped Daren E. • Layton , UT • April 15, 2016
Upon opening the front cover of my GE washing machine, I found the water pump/brake was not spinning as it should when the drain/spin cycle was starting. I suspected that the pump/brake was the cause of the problem. I tried to turn the flywheel of the pump by hand and found it tight and somewhat difficult to turn. To temporarily fix the problem, I added a couple drops of motor oil to the front shaft and bearing to see if it would loosen up a little bit. Doing that and turning the flywheel by...

Pretty much everything Charlotteanne Y. • Kingston , IL • August 06, 2018
Here's the story. All my appliances except the dryer broke. Yeah. talk about bad luck. First I tried to fix the refrigerator. Replaced both motherboard and inverter board. Now it wakes up but the compressor does not kick in. Need another part. The washer, well I have to pull out the sink to get enough room to pull out the washer to fix it. Since the refriigerator is still in the middle of the kitchen, I don't need to tear apart another room. Nevertheless, let me say this, I love my "older"...
