Motor control board was flashing 4 times, indicating that the mode shifter had an error. I disconnected the mode shifter's wire from the controller and measured the resistance between the 2 leads with an ohmmeter. First of you need to remove front panel of the washer, using a putty knife push the tabs between the top of the machine and the front panel. Once front panel is exposed drain hose is connected to pump which is in the front of the machine,very easy to access with the front off. Remove old hose with pliers and discard ,run new hose thru outlet on the back of the machine and secure new hose to drain and secure hose to the machine, reinstall front panel of washer and that's it Read more

I changed the pump and also discovered the coin trap was wearing thin because it was rubbing against the sheet metal. So I replaced that as well. It took about 15 minutes to remove the coin trap and pump and about 20 minutes to install. The shipping was amazingly fast. I received the parts the next morning. To access the tub seal, complete disassembly of the washer unit was involved, including removal of the dryer unit on top in order to pull out both tubs. The motor and bearings must also be removed as well from the underside of the outer tub. Read more

Simply open the top of the washer by inserting a putty knife (watch YouTube ) and then the front panel by removing two bottom philips head screws on the front. The whole front panel comes right off. Using pliers the spring clams holding each hose, they come off and each hose is replaced. The drain one was only leaking but since it has open I changed both and even the drive belt.
