I replaced the Ice Dispenser Lever. Since the replacement part is only available in white and my fridge is bone, I replaced also the Water Dispenser Lever, so it looks much better. Refrigerator not cooling or clicking but not starting? This compressor start relay and overload kit fixes failed starting systems. DIY repair in 30 minutes.
Took the screws off the back plate at the bottom and watched the YouTube video on how to remove the cover plate for the starter and overload on the back of the compressor. Ended up snapping the old cover plate (brittle plastic) so I was glad the "kit" came with a new one. Holds the ice dispenser chute door closed on your refrigerator. Replace if spring is broken, missing, or worn and the flapper won't seal properly.
The ice dispenser chute door had not been sealing for years. The ice cubes on the lower portion of the ice bin would melt enough eventually to then freeze up into a big, amalgamated blob of ice due to ambient air coming up the chute. 8-18 x 1/2 inch mounting screw for securing drawer glides, brackets, and oven door components. Replace missing, stripped, or damaged screws during repairs.

Easy to remove the metal parts from the old bin. The only problem was that the screw that holds the adapter has red thread locker and screwdriver rounded off the head of the screw. Drilled the screw and heated the screw to loosen the thread locker and used an ease out to remove the screw. Read more
