Fix dishwasher not heating or melted terminals with this heater terminal nut. Secures the heating element wire connection to prevent arcing and leaks.
Replaced the heating element as shown in the video. Repaired a bad connector on the wire leading to the heating element. The clean light still flashed 3 times. Determined that the thermal fuse also needed to be replaced. Replaced the thermal fuse as shown in the video. The clean light now flashed 7 times which I discovered meant that the control panel needed to be reset. I then reset the control panel by pressing the buttons: normal, heated dry, normal, heated dry. It now works perfectly. Read more

Replacement upper spray arm for dishwashers. Installs on the top rack level to restore water distribution. Replace if cracked, clogged, or broken.
This is a 12 year old Kenmore, but my experience applies to many dishwashers. The machine had run for almost a year without being cleaned. I found parts had failed from age and water passages were jammed with hard-water deposits and pieces of food, labels, etc. that had gotten past the filters. I cleaned out what I could and replaced parts that could not be cleaned or were damaged. Dishwasher now works better than it has for years. The work, including ordering parts, took about 4 hours, but... Read more

White plastic feed tube holder that mounts the upper spray arm assembly. Replaces broken, cracked, or split holders. Measures 3 inches wide by 4 inches high.
We had to take the clips off the side arms to remove the upper basket. Then we turned it upside down to easily access the supply tube. There was one screw that held the assembly in place. We removed that and then replaced the part and put it back together. The feed tube holder just clipped to the upper basket. Read more

Replace your dishwasher's console door seal when you notice water leaks or gaps between the console and door. Verify fit with your model number.
Mounts on the pump outlet to secure and center the lower spray arm. Replace if cracked, broken, or worn to restore proper arm rotation and alignment.
I initially just removed the spray arm and top cover of pump assembly inside the bottom of the washer. Removed match sticks, broken glass bits, a small metal ball, broken plastic fork. Thought problem would be solved, but no,and was disappointed the sound remained after reassembly and a test wash cycle. That basically left the circulation pump. I decided to order the pump and motor assembly together because it was cheaper than the pump alone --and-- there was a chance of other debris in the... Read more

Organizes and supports dishes during wash cycles. Replace if cracked, rusted, missing tines, or coating is flaking. Restores smooth loading function.
Kitchen Aid dishwasher is 11 years old, and the tines have been rusting and biting the dust one by over the last few years. Rather than further destroy my dishes by abrading them with rust particles, I decided to get new racks. They are terribly expensive, and I pondered getting a new dishwasher. It wouldn't be that much more expensive. But I love mine and how well it washes. It has a stainless interior, and all of the seals are in excellent shape. I didn't need any tools. (Although I'm a...
