I removed two sheet metal screws to remove the panel above the washing machine lid. That exposed four more phillips drive sheet metal screws, after removing those the dashboard control panel is held by two smaller black screws slightly recessed in the lower corners. This allowed the panel to be pulled down from the top, revealing the back of the switch. Fix leaking or noisy washer drums caused by broken trunnion bolts. This fastener secures the trunnion assembly to prevent water leaks and vibration.
The seal at the bottom of the tub had started to fail. On large loads water would leak so I ordered a new one rubber seal. Getting the trunnion off the transmission shaft was hard as it was calcified and corroded. I used a wire brush to get some of it off and then used a lot of WD-40. The E32 diagnostic code that the Frigidaire washer was throwing after a quick water fill attempt was not in the supplied Data Sheet that came with the washer and Frigidaire would not provide and updated Data Sheet because, "it's a liabiliity issue" was their statement, but they did tell me that the problem was in the Fill Pressure Sensor/Wire Harness or the Main Control Board (the display board). My 10 year old frig door was hanging down to the point it wasnt fully closing and sealing unless you picked up on it. I ordered a lower hinge bracket, upper and lower bearing, and spacer. Old, unused stack set. Washer was great, dryer was grinding. Started with the mounting bracket/bearing and the belt. The old ones were slightly beatup. Put it back together and the problem persisted.
