Seals connection between pump and sump to prevent leaks during wash cycles. Replace if water pools under dishwasher or pump noise occurs.
Hearing a metal on metal noise and not actually circulate water cancelling cycle worked fine After some web research, I concluded it was highly likely to be the circulation pump, so I watched the video on AppliancePartPros.com and realized it was a lengthy repair (a lot of steps) but not technically difficult. I simply played and paused the video at each step and duplicated the steps. The biggest things to take note of: 1) take good pictures of the wiring to use when you re-connect. 2) Wear... Read more

Seals the dishwasher sump to prevent water leaks during wash cycles. Replace if you notice leaking at the base or constant drain pump operation.
I replaced the gaskets with products from this site which I would not have been able to do without the video on this site. Hard job. The leak was still there though, so I have some hints with this kind of washer. 1) There is a float switch on the base that turns on the drain pump when there is a leak, that is why the drain pump runs constantly, it prevents catastrophic flooding in many cases. The float consists of a little styrofoam donut that lifts an arm, all white. The arm is connected to a... Read more

Used vids on youtube for steps on how to disassemble and install the pump; search "Bosch dishwasher circulation pump replacement". Also on AppliancePartsPro forums, a poster put up the Bosch "Dishwasher Service Training Manual" in .pdf. Search "Bosch dishwasher low pressure" on the forum. It's one of the post with the longest thread. Six pointers. 1. In another forum post, the poster noted that some hoses were brittle with age - and cracked when reinstalling. I had same issue (my washer is... Read more

Replacement water feed tube that delivers water to the upper spray arm in your dishwasher. Replace if cracked, split at seams, or leaking due to wear.
After we saw that progressively our dishes were not getting clean we investigated the condition of the spray arms and this upper feed tube assembly. We found a huge crack on the side of this piece and new not enough water was getting to the arms. We also noticed a build up of soap and lime. So we ran a cycle of vinegar and sprayed the filters and arms with lime-off-sprayed them out with a air hose "completely". Many of the small pieces of lime will clog the holes in the spray arms. Attached the... Read more
Fix a dishwasher that won't fill or run with a new pressure chamber. Controls water level by sensing pressure. Moderate DIY repair with video guide.
Using instructions I obtained over the internet, I first removed the DW's bottom cover panels so I could look inside the DW (with a flashlight) while it was running. I had to put their dishwasher through several wash cycles before I could pinpoint the location of the leak. (The water appeared to be coming from above on the left side of the DW, near the top, rear of the DW's blue "Pressure Chamber." Thinking that the problem likely lay in either a malfunctioning Pressure Chamber or in a... Read more
