The Drive Motor is an OEM part for Frigidaire washing machines. This motor powers the drum's rotation during both the wash and spin cycles. It ensures that the drum agitates and spins correctly, allowing for effective cleaning and rinsing of laundry.
Over time, the drive motor can fail due to regular wear and tear, electrical issues, or overloading the washing machine.
Symptoms of a bad drive motor include:
- The drum not spinning or agitating
- Unusual noises or humming sounds during operation
- The washing machine stopping mid-cycle
- Burning smells coming from the motor area
This OEM Frigidaire part is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator and some Kenmore models.

This is the water inlet valve that controls the flow of household water into your washer during fill and rinse. Replacing a failing valve restores proper filling performance and helps stop unintended water entry when the machine is idle.
- Opens and closes to allow the correct amount of water into the washer as commanded by the control
- Failure can cause no fill, slow/long fill, or continuous filling/fill when off
- Leaks from the valve body or hose connections indicate the valve should be replaced
- Electrical coil failure may lead to intermittent or no operation
What's included: 1 water inlet valve assembly Install notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before servicing
- Place a towel or pan to catch residual water; label and disconnect hoses and wiring
- Install the new valve; transfer any brackets or clips from the old part if needed
- Restore water and power, then check all connections for leaks and run a test fill

Washing machine F8 E1 error code Michael R. • Brooklyn , NY • June 02, 2018
The error code indicated the washer wasn't getting any water, although the basket was filling to an unusually high level. After checking the inlet hoses and their connections but without opening the top cover to see the actual water level pressure switch, I went ahead and ordered the part. After receiving the switch, I opened the cover and found the original switch had fallen off it's mounting (for who-knows how long ago) and was resting against the drum. Over time, the movement of the drum...

My machine is 12 years old and has seen heavy use, including a broken door handle that has been hanging on with copious amounts of duct tape for a while. I replaced the bent door hinge, worn door latch, and the outer handle. The entire repair required ten minutes and a Phillips head screwdriver. Now it works perfectly with NO more beeping!!
